Principle Accountabilities:
ü Develop, implement, and improve site-level PSM policies & procedures per Axalta corporate standards, Local laws & regulations compliance in Axalta Jiading site.
ü Work closely with site operational personal to implement and follow EHS&S procedures on site-level to ensure compliance.
ü Support site Responsible Care Coordinator to implement and maintain RC14001 program.
ü Keep/coordinate site related licenses and permits update to ensure right for operation.
ü Work together with cross functions to keep effective and efficient internal and external communications.
ü Build and promote EHS&S culture and enhance employees safety awareness.
ü Lead site Safety &Occupational Health programs to drive and improve EHS&S performance.
ü Lead/support site S&OH subcommittee and organize regular meetings and activities.
ü Promotes the development, implementation and enhancement of safety, health management systems for the plant.
ü Execute S&OH programs to drive good EHS&S performance.
ü Deliver S&OH orientation & refresh trainings to functions/employees as needed.
ü Lead and coordinate site EHS&S audit and inspection programs (internal and external).
ü Lead/support site S&OH incident investigation and reporting processes
ü Support site new chemical review, approval and MSDS Maintain
ü Lead site health surveillance program ( pre/on/off-job health check-up) and workplace occupational exposure assessment program.
ü Work closely with operation personnel and HR to drive Ergonomic program, early pain report and sick leave management.
ü Co-ordinate PPE management program.
ü Other tasks assigned as needed.
Skill and Knowledge Required:
ü Bachelor’s degree in EHS or medical
ü 3~5-year experience on EHS Management in multi-national company or chemical.
ü Good interpersonal and communication skills and strong leadership.
ü Professionally competent and be able to work independently.
ü Familiar with the requirement of local laws and regulation
ü Show motivation and initiative.
ü Have skills in team building, communication and interpersonal sensitivity.
ü Driving for results.
ü Good in English & Mandarin and strong admin and proficiency in common PC based applications.
